Jokerit Ramblaster
Two things that probably cause more water cooler talk than anything else in Finnish offices are ice hockey and mobile phones.
So it was only natural that Ramblas Digital combined these two into involving interactive Event Media channel called JOKERIT RAMBLASTER.

JOKERIT RAMBLASTER is used at Jokerit Hockey games at Hartwall Arena and other public events.

The Jokerit Ramblaster service enables hockey loving audience's involvement in the game with interactive media environment. It integrates server platform with operator's services, audience's mobile devices and the screens at the event venues. It replaces hockey fan's cardboard posters from the days of yore with new technology and ever changing content that the audience is creating as the game is going on!

The audience can participate in the game by sending SMS text messages to SMS Chat and SMS Vote. They can also order Player Cards as MMS return messages. SMS Chat, SMS Vote and Player Cards are shown during games at Hartwall Arena Jumbo screen to engage audience in a whole new level to the game.

JOKERIT RAMBLASTER – service is developed on top of the Ramblas Visualization Unit platform ("RVU"). Ubiquitous computing is used within the involving service as well as within the extra add-on feature of SM-League scoreboard service, where the RVU is fetching real time data as RSS from SM-League's Internet based scoreboard service. This means that Jokerit Ramblaster is getting up-to-date, real time information from the internet automatically, all the time!

Tangomarkkinat
Tangomarkkinat is a nationally  acclaimed festival that takes place every year in Seinäjoki. The most important part of the festivities is the singing competition where the King and Queen of Tango are crowned.

One of the collaborators of Tangomarkkinat is magazine 7 päivää, also known as "Seiska".

As part of Seiska's involvement in the event, Ramblas Digital designed "Tangopörssi". A tailored solution in charge of measuring the popularity of each King and Queen candidate in real time among the people attending the event. And of course Tangopörssi made it possible for the tango loving audience to have their say about King and Queen hopefuls!

As an event solution Tangopörssi was based on Ramblas LiveOpinion service, which is a real time multi-channel voting service.
Ramblas Digital's LiveOpinion server provided real-time voting statistics to Seiska's webpage, as well as to dozens of plasma screens placed in various events and venues at Tangomarkkinat.

People participated by sending an SMS-message of their favorite candidates number to a short number.

People received instructions on how to vote via Seiska's pages and web pages; as well as through flyers, coasters and plasma screens located throughout the Tangomarkkinat venue.

People that participated in the vote got a return message urging them to participate in sweepstakes by sending in their name and address. At the same time, permission to send Seiska's marketing material to the user's home address was asked.

As a result, transition rate was over 20 percent.

Eurovision Song Contest Sonera Karaoke Stand

When Lordi won Eurovision Song Contest with "Hard Rock Hallelujah" in the year 2006 securing next year's contest to Finland, a Eurovision fever swept the nation.

To the Helsinki City center rose a Eurovision village, where Sonera offered a chance for every man of the street to try if they had it what it takes to be a star.

Ramblas Digital made it possible by executing a Sonera Karaoke Stand at TeliaSonera / Nokia house at Narinkkatori.
At the Sonera Karaoke Stand people could make their very own Eurovision Song Contest inspired animated videos to a selection of songs and show their own star-potential.

When videos were ready they were available for downloading at Sonera internet pages.

Ramblas Digital co-ordinated the concept production, provided the technology and built the functionalities of the Sonera Karaoke Stand Studio.

Sonera Karaoke Stand proved out to be wildly popular, and why shouldn't it be. After all, it was done with Ramblas love and piety!
